Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about the shooting process, preparation, timelines, and pricing.
Shooting
The process starts with a preliminary discussion of your project and goals. On the shoot day, I arrive at the property, assess the lighting, space, and project story. I work independently with decor throughout the entire shoot. A single property shoot takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the area, number of rooms, and styling preparation.
A standard apartment or house shoot takes 3–4 hours. Smaller spaces (one room, bathroom) require 1–2 hours. Commercial properties (restaurants, hotels) may need a full working day or shoots at different times of day.
I work with a professional medium-format camera with lenses from 16 to 100 mm. I use professional studio lighting, a tripod, and additional equipment for challenging conditions.
Yes, I travel for shoots to any city in Russia and abroad. Transportation and accommodation costs are billed separately. For remote projects, I recommend planning the trip in advance.
Of course. The presence of the designer or client during the shoot is welcome — you can oversee the process and make adjustments on the fly. This helps achieve exactly the result you need.
Property Preparation
The key is cleanliness and order. Remove excess items from surfaces, hide cables and chargers, and check that all lights are working. Once we start working together, I will send you a checklist.
If I am shooting a property that is still occupied, it is necessary to prepare the space in advance: clothing, shoes, personal items (photos, documents, toiletries) should be removed. Decorative objects, books, and accessories usually stay.
Professional cleaning before the shoot is highly recommended. The camera sees dust and streaks that are invisible to the eye. Pay special attention to mirrors, glass surfaces, and floors.
Yes, basic styling is included: adjusting textiles, arranging decor, small floristry, choosing angles. For extensive styling with decor procurement and a dedicated stylist, this is discussed separately.

The standard package includes 25–35 final shots for a small apartment and 45–60 shots for a larger project. The exact number is discussed before the shoot and depends on the property size and your needs.
